The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) is a non-profit, membership-based organization for women's health educators. We represent medical educators at teaching institutions across the United States and Canada. Our members include deans, department chairs, residency and clerkship directors and faculty who train medical students and residents at universities and community based settings. APGO is administered by a staff of six, and is directed by the APGO Board of Directors, which comprises professionals from obstetrics and gynecology and women's health care. The APGO Mission The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics promotes excellence in women's health care by providing optimal resources and support to educators who inspire, instruct, develop and empower women's health care providers of tomorrow.
