Since 1997, Astro’s founders have shared a passion for British lighting and a vision to create products with distinctive quality. Captured in designs that transcend seasons and trends, more than two decades of knowledge influence their range of bathroom, interior and exterior luminaires.

Co-founder and design director, James Bassant, continues to lead their in-house design and engineering team at their headquarters in West Essex, United Kingdom. The team maintain the brand’s pursuit of excellence, which several global awarding bodies acknowledge. Astro is a proud recipient of prestigious industry accolades such as the RedDot award, the Archiproduct Design award, and the Queen's Award for International Trade.
