Headquartered in Fox, South Australia, Ausfilm maintains offices in Sydney at Disney Studios Australia and in Los Angeles, reflecting its international reach. Its work targets international productions seeking to film in Australia and to build partnerships with Australian talent, including coordinating post-production activities such as visual effects, animation, and sound production in the country. In 2024, Ausfilm named Samantha Martin-Williams independent chair for a three-year term, succeeding Sam Mostyn.
