vila Winters is owned and directed by husband-wife duo ,Tony and Karla Avila.  The duo have over 13+ years of creating inviting and adult-refined spaces for various clients in Northern California.  Their story began in 2005 when fully remodeling their first  home in Oakland. This home became an example of what Tony and Karla were able to accomplish and many began requesting help  from the duo to transform their spaces.  In 2016 the duo moved to Winters, CA and purchased a walnut orchard #Casaavilawinters which they plan to restore and remodel - this property will epitomize the style that is the center of Avila Winters Design & Co. On August of 2018, Avila Winters will open up a storefront for furniture and home wares in Woodland, CA. 

Karla has had a  had a lifelong passion for beautifying spaces around her and this can be seen in everything she does - from the way she tablescapes her dinner table to the way she styles and organizes a closet. Everything she does reflects that living a life by design, not default, is at the core of who she is. Karla is dedicated to this lifestyle and want to share her knowledge and skills with others and serve people who desire to create beauty and function in their own homes and lives. 

Tony was born with a hammer and measuring tape - he is just so naturally handy! Over the years, Tony has perfected his skill set by taking on remodeling projects and by creating custom-build pieces for Avila Winters Design and Co. transformations. His love for cooking and hosting have paired well with Karla's love for refined entertainment - his well-loved dishes take center stage on tables  adorned and styled in the "Karla-esque" style.
