The Ballard Natural Gas Service Story: Landis and Kathleen Kappen founded Ballard Natural Gas Service (BNGS) and worked out of their home starting in 1993. Landis Kappen had 18+ years of industry experience with Washington Natural Gas. Together the couple started BNGS with the goal to be a better way to provide HVAC services and installations to Seattle and the surrounding area. BNGS is proud that our business continues to grow organically through word of mouth. Our customers refer us to their friends, family, co-workers, and associates.
