We provide CLINICAL ENGINEERING services to help you deliver patient care that is safe and effective. We define clinical engineering as professional engineering and management support to improve patient care through cost-effective management of technology across its entire lifecycle.

We also provide FORENSIC ENGINEERING services to help you understand the root causes of adverse events and to avoid their recurrence. We define forensic engineering as professional engineering services to identify the root causes of incidents and improve patient safety.

PROGRAM ASSESSMENT: We review clinical engineering programs in hospitals and systems of all sizes, evaluating compliance with accreditation standards, benchmarking on multiple dimensions, and identifying opportunities for improvement. 

CLINICAL ENGINEERING INTEGRATION and CE-IT CONVERGENCE: We work with hospital systems seeking to integrate clinical engineering activities system-wide. We also work with organizations to integrate Clinical Engineering and Information Technology.

EQUIPMENT PLANNING: We work with healthcare organizations to improved their processes for capital equipment planning and medical technology assessment. We provide services for equipment planning, specification, selection, acquisition, installation, and acceptance.

INCIDENT INVESTIGATION: If you believe a medical device may have contributed to the injury or death of a patient or staff member — or contributed to serious physical damage or financial loss — we work with you to discover the root causes and avoid recurrence.

LITIGATION SUPPORT: When a medical device is an issue in a legal matter, you need support from an expert in that field. We help you understand the technical issues and we advise you as you work with legal counsel (plaintiff or defense).
