BD Heat Recovery Division, Inc. specializes in energy and efficiency improvements of Combustion Air Preheaters and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) application operating in the Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refining, and Gas Processing Industries.

The BD Group of Companies has, in one form or another, been in existence since 1997 when it was originally formed as BritAm Engineering Services, Inc. which is still in operation today. The BD Group has expanded over the years with the formation of BD Heat Recovery Division Inc., founded in 2002, and BD Energy Systems, LLC., created in 2012 to specialize in the Steam Reformer Market.

Utilizing proven and innovative technologies the BD Group continues to be a leading supplier to the industry.  BD Heat installed the world's first SCR on a Submerged Combustion Vaporizer in downtown Boston (USA), and the history of innovation doesn't stop there. The BD Group designed and supplies a Steam Reformer SCR with a 97% NOx removal rate. BD Heat's patented Recuperative Plate Heat Exchangers provide optimum heat recovery efficiency in the most compact space.
