The most important thing we do is to listen to our clients.  We do that because our clients know and understand their business, and what is important for their continued success.  We can then apply our knowledge of the law and the legal process, to develop the right legal strategies to protect and grow those businesses.  What forms of intellectual property are best?  What is the best way to defend a patent suit?  How should a company proceed against an infringer?  None of those questions can be answered in the abstract.  We tailor our advice to the particular circumstances and needs of each client, because what is best for one client may not be best for another.

All this depends not on the size of the law firm, but the focus of the lawyers.
