Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) is a university-affiliated cultural institution that advances art and film as its core focus. Its collections total more than 25,000 artworks and 18,000 films and videos, with notable strengths in modern and contemporary art, historical Chinese painting, and the world's largest collection of African American quilts. The institution emphasizes programming that is international in scope while maintaining local connections and global relevance. It is housed in a repurposed building on the edge of UC Berkeley's campus in Berkeley, California, a structure redesigned by Diller Scofidio + Renfro.

As part of UC Berkeley, BAMPFA offers exhibitions, film screenings, artist talks, live performances, and educational programs that broaden access to art and cinema and foster engagement with leading filmmakers and artists. Recent developments include the February 2026 appointment of Jeff Griffith-Perham as Associate Film Curator, which completes a three-person curatorial team for its film program.
