Bernard Tschumi Architects is an international architectural and urban design practice focused on integrating 21st-century culture with built form. The firm serves institutional, private, and civic clients, with a portfolio valued at over $1 billion and a track record spanning facilities to master plans. It operates from offices in New York City and Paris, with Bernard Tschumi personally directing all designs. It was founded in 1983 in Paris following the Parc de la Villette commission, and opened its New York head office in 1988. In 2002 a Paris-based arm, Bernard Tschumi urbanistes Architectes (BTuA), was established to act as executive architects for French projects. In 2018 the firm was named a finalist in the Huairou Science City international masterplan competition near Beijing.
