The Bhindi story began over seventy years ago when our founder Karsanji Bhindi, a fifth-generation goldsmith, left India to start a modest showroom in the Fijian city of Suva.

Karsanji's three sons, Vinod, Jayant and Dhanesh, decided to expand the business to North America where they opened Bhindi’s first jewelry boutique in Vancouver, Canada. In 1984, the brothers saw an opportunity for growth in the diverse community of Artesia, California. Starting with a 700- square foot showroom, Bhindi quickly became a household name in the South Asian community. The brothers shortly after opened a store in San Francisco, California in 1987 and Atlanta, Georgia California 1995.

With boutiques in four cities, Bhindi’s commitment to customer service is what unifies each location.  The third generation of the Bhindi family has joined the family business and have brought new ideas and innovations to the Bhindi  experience. Our knowledgeable sales associates are our family, and yours.
