Bicycle Transit Systems has paved the way for bike share in the United States, launching and operating bike share systems across North America. Now with over 200 employees, we proudly operate systems in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas, as well as ten additional bike share programs acquired through our recent acquisition of BCycle, including San Antonio, TX; Nashville, TN; Broward County, FL; Madison, WI; and Santa Barbara, CA. 

Our hallmarks are innovation, equity and operational excellence. Bicycle Transit Systems and public agency partners introduced the first reduced fare access pass in Philadelphia and pioneered transit integration for bike share users in Los Angeles.  Now, with BCycle’s software, hardware, and future product under our umbrella, we are the only vertically integrated docked bike share company in North America – a testament to our mission-driven approach and commitment to growth. This integration also provides us with expanded capabilities in product development, enabling us to better serve the needs of the communities we operate in.
