Big Watt was created under the roof of Five Watt Coffee, a thriving neighborhood coffee shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founders Lee Carter, Jason Westplate and Caleb Garn combined their powers and passions as three coffee and beverage industry veterans with similar philosophies to create the industry's first 12-month shelf stable cold press coffee...with no preservatives! 

With a test kitchen at their fingertips and a built-in focus group with Five Watt’s customers, Big Watt cold press coffee was carefully crafted through testing, learning and improving. And through this process, Big Watt has taken the innovative and delicious beverages created at Five Watt out into the world, in a way that’s easy to share, and tastes as good and fresh as it does in the coffee shop.
