Restaurant founder and owner Jeff Jackson collaborated with Billy Sims to create an authentic and incomparable dining experience that is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. From OU crimson and white to Detroit Lion silver and blue, Billy Sims BBQ treats customers to a main course of succulent ribs and brisket and a large side order of sports nostalgia that includes photographs, jerseys, footballs, memorabilia and more.
“Creating a fun ambiance that pays tribute to Billy and to OU football tradition is one of our most important goals,” says Jackson. “But we know that it doesn’t matter what décor you have hanging on the walls if the food isn’t high quality. That’s why our primary focus is serving excellent barbecue that you won’t find anywhere else.”
