Bonamassa, Maietta & Cartelli, LLP was formed in 2000 succeeding to a firm, Bonamassa & Maietta, CPAs, which had been established by James D. Bonamassa and Lawrence F. Maietta in 1991. The firm is a full service public accounting firm whose services include audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements, preparation of all types of tax returns, estate planning and other management advisory services. We also have extensive experience in representing clients in all types of tax disputes including participation in conciliation and appeals conferences and the preparation of offers-in-compromise. The firm has a diversified client base with areas of practice including: insurance, not-for-profits, legal and medical practices, manufacturing, textiles, equipment leasing, real estate, food and beverage, general and specialty trade contractors and retail and wholesale enterprises. The firm has developed a significant niche in providing auditing, accounting & tax services to property & casualty insurance companies. A large part of our firm's success can be attributed to our ability to identify and address the needs of our clients. We take a personal interest in understanding each client and their particular business needs. This approach has allowed us to provide professional, quality and timely services leading to a high level of client satisfaction. Our growth has led us to occupy two floors in the same building in which James D. Bonamassa began with one desk in 1985. Our growth however has not taken us away from our original formula. We continue to look to be "hands on" and see ourselves as an extension of the client. We are there for our clients, whatever the need and whenever it arises.
