The Brose Sitech Group is a joint venture between Brose and Volkswagen that began operations in 2022. The joint venture emerged from the Volkswagen subsidiary Sitech, which was founded in Polkowice, Poland, in 1998 and specializes in the development and production of complete seats and structures. Brose's investment in Sitech was announced in March 2021, with each partner holding 50 percent of the new joint venture. The aim of the collaboration is to expand the seat system business worldwide, double production and establish Brose Sitech as a global player in the seat market. Brose took over industrial leadership. We currently employ more than 7,500 people at 20 locations in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, India and China, where we manufacture complete seats, cockpits, structures and other seat components and deliver them to our customers on time. Our development services cover the entire spectrum, from initial design to series production support. With the acquisition of the subsidiary Proseat and a majority stake of 51% in the trim specialist Covercar, the Brose Sitech Group provides a complete product portfolio.
