Unlike traditional lighting, which is made up of fixtures wired to switched AC circuits, C3 believes that an LED lighting solution requires that power supplies, dimming controls, power management devices, fixtures, and the LED itself each be viewed as components required to illuminate an area or an entire building. C3 has taken the unique approach to design a full family of products that combine to create a buildings digital lighting system. C3’s open architecture also allows use of its components with other manufacturer’s products.
