The Canadian Beverage Association is a national industry body representing the companies that manufacture and distribute the majority of non-alcoholic beverages consumed in Canada. Its membership encompasses more than 60 brands across categories such as juices, bottled water, sports drinks, ready-to-serve iced teas and coffees, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Based in Toronto, Ontario, the association serves as a coordinated voice for the sector and facilitates industry-wide activities across the country. Members directly employ over 20,000 Canadians and operate about 120 manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and offices nationwide, with indirect employment generated through the broader supply chain. The organization has engaged in partnerships and research initiatives, including a 2023 collaboration with The Conference Board, Inc. to benchmark progress on a program involving its members. Through these efforts, the association supports a wide array of retail and foodservice jobs tied to its products.
