Canadian Science Publishing is a mid-sized, not-for-profit publisher in the book and periodical publishing industry, based in Ottawa, Ontario. It aims to enhance the reach, rigour, and relevance of science so that researchers, institutions, and the broader public can find, trust, and use scholarly work. The company is led by researchers and relies on governance that includes editors and a board with academic backgrounds, reflecting its not-for-profit, research-centered orientation. Its journals include some of Canada’s longest-running titles, many of which trace their origins to the National Research Council, while the publisher also releases research from around the world. In 2023, CSP announced a partnership with Sortee to promote open science.
