CTX is a London, England-based platform that operates as an electronic marketplace and brokerage for voluntary carbon credits. Over more than fifteen years, it has facilitated tens of millions of credits exchanged among corporates, project developers, brokers, and NGOs. The marketplace supports trading across multiple credit types and standards, including CERs, VERs, VCUs, EUAs, REDD, and REDD+ credits, and holds certifications from Gold Standard, Verified Carbon Standard, and the United Nations CDM; CTX was the first commercial partner to the UN CDM Registry.

Beyond trading, CTX offers services such as Carbon Neutral Certification, Carbon Project Development, and Carbon Foot-printing. Its client base comprises corporations and other organizations aiming to manage carbon commitments and enhance sustainability across their supply chains. In March 2026, CTXglobal announced a partnership with Global Carbon Registry to introduce a new methodology for biofuels production and usage, with the first credits available for trade on CTX.
