COMPANY For over 35 years Carolyn Ray Inc has been designing and producing original fabrics and wallcoverings inspired by nature and driven by creative innovation and the spirit of exploration. Our in-house team combines art and industry to create exceptional materials for interiors. Noted for timeless themes, subtle color, and richly layered surfaces, Carolyn Ray designs are modern classics. Carolyn Ray, President and Creative Director, came to the design industry from a fine art background and early career as a painter. With a passion for making the process of design and production as experimental, joyous, and "fine" as possible, the company has received numerous industry honors and inspired generations of artists and designers through on-site internships and apprentice programs. SUSTAINABILITY Our environmental policy like our design philosophy, is inspired by the harmony of the natural world. We strive to embody the concept of "less is more" in nature-based textures, forms, and colors, and to tread lightly on the earth throughout all of our processes. We realize the significance of human impact on the environment and the importance of taking responsibility for its protection.
