CARTWRIGHT TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL, INC., was founded by Willard A. Cartwright Sr. in October of 1962. Mr. Cartwright was working in the pest control and construction business in the 1930's with his father in New Jersey until he entered the Army Air Corps during World War II.

In 1954, Mr. Cartwright moved with his family to El Cajon, California. Prior to opening Cartwright Termite Control, Mr. Cartwright worked for Admiral Termite Company, Buggsy Tacker Pest Control, and Budget Termite Company throughout San Diego County. In October 1968, Cartwright Termite Control Company became Cartwright Termite and Pest Control, Inc., a California corporation. Throughout its history, the corporate office for Cartwright Termite and Pest Control, Inc., has been located in El Cajon, California. The Cartwright family has  been in the termite and pest control business for three generations and the fourth generation is now involved in this growing business.

Cartwright Termite & Pest Control, Inc. is licensed to operate under the Structural Pest Control Board of the State of California (Consumer Affairs) and hold licenses in Branch I (Fumigation), Branch II (General Pest Control) and Branch III (Termite). In addition we are licensed by the State of California Department of Agriculture for the purpose of treating plant and tree diseases, weed control, bird control, and wild animal control (Trapping).
