CATV Services, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Richard C. Richmond. During its first two years of operation, it functioned primarily as a manufacturers representative organization. By the 1980’s CATV Services had expanded in size, staff, and ability, to handle our customers needs both in new and reconditioned equipment. Under the direction of CATV Services current president, Ryan Richmond, the company has evolved into a “Master Wholesale Broker”. The company’s present business mode includes providing major cable television system owners with a holistic excess inventory disposal plan. This solution, on contractual basis, includes providing on-site inventories and disposal of excess and obsolete equipment. Field managers, who are seasoned CATV professionals, work on-site to confirm and document the existing materials deemed to be in excess. Utilizing bar code scanners, and the latest available computer technology, updated inventory information from field managers around the world is consolidated at CATV Services Miami office for disposition to wholesalers or end users.
