The Center for Research on Ending Violence (REV) is a unit within Rutgers School of Social Work, based in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Established in 2007, it pursues its mission to eliminate violence and the power imbalances that sustain it through collaborative, multidisciplinary research, education, and community engagement. The center seeks to connect its scholarly work with practical impact by offering customized training for state departments and agencies, research-informed technical assistance, program and training evaluation, and a virtual learning academy for professionals, all through partnerships with nonprofit, government, corporate, and academic leaders.

REV administers a certificate program for Master of Social Work students focused on interpersonal violence and trauma, with the aim of developing trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice. It also provides competitive scholarships for students pursuing work in this area, and completes the certificate with transcript notation and a physical certificate.
