Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. is a generation and transmission electric cooperative based in Columbia, South Carolina. It provides wholesale power to South Carolina's 19 distribution cooperatives, whose combined membership totals roughly two million consumer-members. In 2025 it expanded facilities in Orangeburg County in partnership with Silicon Ranch to develop a 100 MW solar facility, illustrating efforts to expand renewable generation capacity and strengthen grid infrastructure.
