Founded in 1978, Child Parent Institute formerly the California Parenting Institute (CPI) is a parent education and children’s mental health agency serving families throughout Sonoma County. Our mission is to end child abuse and strengthen the health of children, parents, and families.  One of our key strategies is the of the “Strengthening Families – Five Protective Factors” model which is integrated into all of our services.
