Children of the City is a small nonprofit based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, New York, that delivers services through home visits to connect children and families with programs designed to help them move beyond poverty. Since its founding in 1981, the organization has addressed issues such as trauma, academic frustration, drug use, delinquency, and despair, expanding its offerings as needs in the community evolve.
