Christ Community Church - Kansas City operates as a multi-site religious organization serving the Kansas City metro area, with five campuses in Brookside, Downtown, Leawood, Olathe, and Shawnee Mission. Based in Leawood, Kansas, it aligns with the Evangelical Free Church tradition and aims to cultivate a caring community of multiplying disciples who influence their community and the wider world for Jesus Christ.
The church presents itself as a single congregation coordinating across its campuses rather than a single location. In 2023 it introduced a technology-enabled skill-mapping tool to give leadership deeper insight into how individual congregants feel called to serve outside the church walls. This development indicates a focus on leadership development and broader community impact within the Kansas City metro.
