City Credit Union - formerly the City Employees Credit Union - was issued a State of Texas charter in 1942. While our beginnings were serving only City of Dallas employees, today we serve the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington Metropolitan Statistical Area: anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Denton, Rockwall, Ellis, Kaufman, Grayson, Cooke, Hunt, Johnson, Parker and Wise counties is eligible to become a member.

We assist our members with all aspects of their finances – savings, loans, insurance and financial education. Member service - in-branch, on the phone or online - means a lot to us, and our member survey scores and Google reviews show we're doing a pretty good job.

Our employees score us high on our annual staff survey, and we were again named A Great Place to Work in Financial Services for 2023-2024.

Today, City CU is led by President and CEO David Frith, and has grown to more than $650 million in assets, 35,000 members, 100 employees and five branches in north Texas. Join us (as a member or a new employee) to see how we're making the difference, one member at a time.
