City Credit Union is a financial services cooperative headquartered in Dallas, Texas, chartered in 1942 as the City Employees Credit Union. It began by serving City of Dallas employees and now serves the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area, with membership open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Denton, Rockwall, Ellis, Kaufman, Grayson, Cooke, Hunt, Johnson, Parker, and Wise counties. The credit union offers savings and loan products, insurance, and financial education, with member service available in-branch, by phone, and online. Current figures indicate assets over $650 million, about 35,000 members, 100 employees, and five branches in north Texas, under the leadership of President and CEO David Frith. In 2025, leadership changes included the promotion of Mitchell Clark to executive vice president and chief operating officer and the appointment of David Frith as president, alongside expansion of offices to Thornton, Colorado and relocation of the corporate headquarters and flagship branch to 8344 East R.L. Thornton Freeway.
