Established in 1955, the Clark County Medical Society is a professional organization of more than 1,600 physicians, residents, and medical students. The organization advocates for physicians and their patients in Southern Nevada, encouraging the delivery of quality health care within the community.

The Clark County Medical Society is ultimately striving: 

1. To be the advocate for physicians, their patients and community health.

2. To preserve the physician/patient relationship while encouraging delivery of quality health care within the community.

3. To represent our membership in health and economic matters.

4. To serve as a resource for the provision and promotion of unbiased quality continuing medical education, particularly those member educational requirements not met elsewhere, by live or recorded programming that results in measurable improvement in competence/knowledge, performance or patient outcomes.
