Coleridge is a nonprofit that partners with governments to improve how data informs public decision-making. Its flagship offering is the Administrative Data Research Facility, a secure, FedRAMP-certified cloud environment that enables agencies to link confidential micro-data within and across states and departments. It also provides data-literacy training to agency staff and runs Applied Data Analytics programs that are modular and project-based, allowing participants to work with their own data to address real-world policy questions and to develop open-source tools for ongoing use after training ends. The organization is based in the Washington, D.C. area and operates with a small to mid-sized team. Its applied-data analytics curriculum for public policy professionals covers data management, record linkage, machine learning, text analysis, inference, and privacy techniques, using real micro-data to illuminate policy problems, and in March 2026 it hosted its 6th Annual National Conference in Arlington, Virginia.
