Collins Contracting Co., Inc. has been located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, since its organization in 1977.  The same ownership has remained constant throughout its history. Most of our key personnel have been with the company for more than 20 years.  In its more than thirty years in business, Collins has maintained a reputation for on-time, on-budget projects with capable, efficient site development project management.

Our staff offers input and site evaluation throughout the planning process culminating in value engineering that ensures a high-quality, successful project.

We perform a mix of residential and commercial projects, from small and large subdivisions to shopping centers, schools and hospitals.  Beginning with King George Community Center and the expansion of the General Products Manufacturing facility almost thirty years ago to the more recent 1000-acre mixed-use development of Lee’s Parke in Spotsylvania County, Collins Contracting has been a prominent site development, heavy highway construction contractor for the central Virginia area.

Our area of operations takes us from Northern Virginia south to the Charlottesville area, east to the Northern Neck, and west to the foothills of the Blue Ridge. From land clearing to final pavement, Collins Contracting is a complete turnkey site development contractor.
