The Columbus Urban League (CUL) is a community-based nonprofit advocacy organization based in Columbus, Ohio. It pursues data-informed, outcome-oriented strategies to help families in need achieve self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and family stabilization. Founded in 1918, the organization operates as an affiliate of the National Urban League and is one of Central Ohio’s oldest and most established community-based groups. Through nineteen programs spanning Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary and Adult Education, Workforce Development and Career Services, Housing Support Services, and Community Outreach, CUL targets underserved populations in the region to improve access to essential resources. CUL serves a broad cross-section of Central Ohio residents, focusing its services on education, workforce readiness, housing stability, and related supports. In 2025, the organization announced a collaboration with Columbus State Community College to help shape the program's curriculum, reflecting a formal partnership with a local higher-education institution.
