LifeCare Alliance is a nonprofit wellness and health services provider serving central Ohio, focusing on older adults and medically challenged homebound residents. Founded in 1898, it was the region’s first in-home health care agency and among the early providers of visiting nurses and Meals-on-Wheels. The organization runs a network of programs including Meals-on-Wheels, Senior Dining Centers, Wellness Centers, Help-at-Home, and Visiting Nurses, with the aim of meeting evolving community health and nutrition needs.

It pursues mergers and collaborations to expand access and reduce service duplication in central Ohio. In November 2025, the City of Columbus announced a partnership with LifeCare Alliance to distribute frozen meals, produce, diapers, hygiene items, and other essentials through community centers.
