Since 1929, Commercial Electric Products Corporation has been a privately held entity beginning as a service company providing electric motor repair and wiring services to the commercial and industrial marketplace.
Soon, the customer base expanded to include telephone companies, leading to the design and manufacture of telecommunications power equipment.
During the 1950’s, the company began wholesale distribution of new motors and terminal blocks until 1985 when control panel components and automation products were added to supply an increasing base of industrial and OEM customers.
ln 1969, Custom Connector Corporation was founded as a design, manufacturing, and marketing subsidiary specializing in electro-mechanical connectors.
Today, Commercial Electric continues to provide our customers with a unique mix of quality products and services through our six divisions.
