We at Community Connections, Inc. (CCI) are dedicated and driven to assist individuals with developmental disabilities while enhancing their independence.  We will encourage individuals to advocate for themselves and we will advocate for those who are unable to.  We strive to provide the highest quality of service by providing consistency, professionalism, creativity, and a team-based working philosophy.

In 2002 CCI was created as a Service Coordination Agency where CCI would be used to act as an advocate for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  Assisting participants in finding services such as Developmental Therapy, Intensive Behavioral Intervention, and Residential Habilitation were keys to early success.

In 2003 CCI expanded the program to include Developmental Therapy. CCI opened the doors for Developmental Therapy with just 3 participants and has grown exponentially ever since.

Providing programs created for participant needs, not a program where the client was expected to adjust to the program, has been they key to CCI's success.  CCI wanted each participant to have uniquely individualized therapy, using any technique available to the participant.

The last few years has been incredible for many of our adult participants seeking employment within the community as our Vocational services have helped place participants in meaningful employment opportunities across the state. Our reputation for quality has also led us to contracts working with school districts (student based supports), the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections (community placement) and the Department of Health & Welfare (Crisis Placement & Infant Toddler Service Coordination); we are fortunate to work closely with so many partners across the state who share similar visions.
