Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) is a nonprofit health care organization based in South Florida that has operated since 1971 to provide affordable, culturally sensitive primary and behavioral health services. The organization runs a network of primary care centers and school-based programs, with board-certified physicians, supported by accreditation from the Joint Commission as a federally qualified health center. CHI's mission includes expanding access to mental health care, as evidenced by its initiative to establish the first comprehensive Children’s Crisis Center in southern Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The group serves a broad community within the health care sector, focusing on low-cost, accessible care for residents and addressing gaps in mental health and primary care services. In recent years, CHI has engaged in community partnerships and program expansions, including a notable development in November 2025 with involvement in a local pickleball fundraising event under its broader community health mission.
