Community Tampa Bay is a Clearwater-based nonprofit in the civic and social sector, founded in 1991 as a regional office of the National Conference for Community and Justice and later independent since 2005. It focuses on reducing discrimination by developing inclusive leaders and facilitating cross-cultural dialogue, targeting youth, young adults, and adults and reaching more than 1,000 individuals annually through leadership programs that emphasize dialogue and collaboration. Its approach leverages inter-group contact and relationship-building to support learning that centers participants and promotes respectful, empathic conversation. Outcome data reported by the organization indicate that a large majority of participants recognize the harms of prejudice, with substantial shares experiencing prejudice-reducing cross-cultural interactions and acquiring skills to facilitate dialogue. In 2025, Community Tampa Bay broadened its programs with the launch of ANYTOWN for Adults, extending its youth-focused education to adult learners.
