Como is a motor vehicle manufacturing company based in Paris, Île-de-France, distributing the brands smart, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus through 17 concessions in Paris and the wider Île-de-France region. The group was founded in 1938 and was acquired in 1986 by O. Kaddoura. It operates three Mercedes-Benz concessions in the area — Como Automobiles, Como 93 and Como 95 — and began expanding smart centers in Paris in 1998. It currently operates nine smart centers across Paris and Île-de-France, making it the largest distributor of the smart compact car in France, with nearly one-third of all smart cars sold there handled by Como. Through Lexus, the company offers hybrid and low-pollution vehicles for urban use, while its concessions also provide a selection of used vehicles.
