Based in Hartford, Connecticut, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) is a bipartisan nonprofit focused on giving the environment a voice at the state capitol. It seeks to elect leaders who prioritize environmental issues and policies that protect air and water quality. During legislative sessions, CTLCV tracks bills affecting the state's natural resources and informs lawmakers and the public, publishing an Environmental Scorecard that grades legislators on their environmental votes. Each year, CTLCV endorses political candidates for state and local office who demonstrate leadership and pledge to make the environment a top priority. CTLCV also works to engage residents by providing information and tools that support informed participation in elections and policy discussions. In 2024, the organization launched an 'Action Hour' series to host virtual forums and testimony training for climate solutions.
