Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a non-profit electric utility formed in 1939 to provide electricity to residents in its rural service territory in Oregon, rooted in a community-ownership model. It serves about 14,000 members with over 17,000 meters across Curry County and portions of Coos and Douglas Counties, supported by a network of 1,634 miles of line, including 54 miles of transmission line between Gold Beach and Brookings. The company is headquartered in Port Orford, Oregon, and maintains area offices in Port Orford, Coquille, Gold Beach, and Brookings. It serves rural regions east and south of Coos Bay in Coos County, a portion of Douglas County, and all of Curry County except Langlois. In 2026, the cooperative received the Electric Cooperative Purpose Award from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and in January 2026 launched the Connected Senior Program in Brookings in collaboration with its broadband subsidiary, Beacon Broadband.
