Community Theatre The Crandell Theatre is a long-standing, nonprofit cinema with deep local ties in Columbia County, presenting opportunities to partner on community events, film festivals, and educational programs to drive local audience engagement.

Funding Awareness Recent NYSCA grant support indicates alignment with public arts funding avenues. Sales opportunities exist in sponsored programs, grant-backed initiatives, and sponsorship packages for festivals and special screenings.

Festival Platform Annual events like FilmColumbia and monthly Chatham Film Club screenings attract diverse film audiences. There is potential to upsell venue services, partner marketing, or livestream/virtual component packages for broader reach.

Small Ops, Big Needs As a near-1 person operation with a traditional single-screen setup, Crandell Theatre may benefit from scalable tech and service partnerships (ticketing, marketing automation, donor management, grant administration) to maximize efficiency and revenue.

Local Experience Unique architectural and live-performance features create cross-sell opportunities with experiential partners (organ lofts, stage facilities) for rentals, special events, school programs, and heritage tourism collaborations.
