Gravitas Fitness is Santa Barbara’s premiere fitness training facility and the home of the Central Coast’s famous CrossFit Pacific Coast. Opening our doors in 2009 in an 800 square foot studio down in the funk zone, we very quickly found that not only had we overtaken our parking lot, but we were spilling out into the neighborhood as well. Making the leap to 5,000 square feet of open gym space in 2012 into home at 220 East Cota St. was a dream come true. In the last seven years we’ve grown to a gym of over 250 thriving members by offering CrossFit group classes, Private and Small Group Training, Individual Program Designs, CrossFit Kid’s program, Corporate Wellness and much more. Our services are geared to help members ranging from the complete fitness novice to the most experienced trainee in areas of weight loss, rehabilitation, athletic competition, health and longevity. Our goal has always been to provide the highest-level training in a community oriented, family centered environment. With over 10 personally trained coaches on staff, we’ve been helping Santa Barbarians achieve fitness, health, and wellness levels beyond their wildest dreams and made certain they’ve had a great time doing so. We pride ourselves in authenticity and transparency when working with our clients toward both their short and long term goals. We very well may be the “Anti-Boot Camp” focused on a continuous exploration of one’s fitness.
