The Crystal Coast is an 85-mile stretch of pristine shoreline located along North Carolina’s Southern Outer Banks. The collection of beaches and towns offers a unique blend of history, family fun, water sports, and explorable natural areas. 

The Crystal Coast of North Carolina includes world-class beaches with 11 quaint and unique towns such as Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle and Morehead City to name a few. The area has received numerous national and international accolades, recognized for its world-class beaches, small-town atmospheres, exceptional restaurants sport fishing, and many more outdoor sports offerings because of its natural beauty.

Tourism and recreational pursuits are principal elements of the County's economic life. In addition to experiencing the unique cultures of these friendly communities,  
our incomparable attractions such as Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Shackelford Island Wild Horses, the NC Carolina Aquarium and historic Fort Macon offer visitors up close and personal experiences to enhance their vacation experience.
