Mission
The value of a satisfied customer is immeasurable. Our mission is to achieve the safe, timely transportation and delivery of each customer’s product.

Our History
CTI has evolved from the small local hauling business started in 1930 by the Gibbons family in Tucson, Arizona. The Company operated as Cement Transporters, Inc. until 1977 when several family businesses were consolidated under the CTI logo. Today, CTI’s regional trucking operations are run by Gregg Gibbons, son of the founder, G.L. “Rusty” Gibbons. The company is privately held. The core business continues to be hauling bulk commodities throughout the Southwest region of the United States.

In 2002, CTI saw new opportunities to expand its scope of service to include the construction industry. The addition of flatbed and belly dump operations allowed us to meet the transportation demands for materials such as roof tile, block, brick, sack cement products, crushed limestone, magnetite, etc.

Chemical Transportation, Inc. (CT), a wholly owned subsidiary of CTI, provides environmental services throughout the Southwest. CT’s original scope of service, transportation, has remained while also developing expertise in waste treatment, on-site service, site remediation, environmental consulting, and emergency response services.
