Founded in 1960 by “Charlie” Cummins and “Chub” Wagner, Cummins-Wagner serves Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania with leading brands of compressors, pumps, and heat transfer equipment, offering system design, assembly, and aftermarket service and repair. In 1985, Cummins and Wagner established an ESOP, selling the company to its employees. Today, 200 employee-owners are committed to delivering top-quality products and service. Cummins-Wagner has grown through strategic acquisitions: Siewert Equipment in 2008 expanded our reach into New York; the EPS division launched in 2012 in West Chester, PA, designs and fabricates custom packaged systems for pressure boosting, heat transfer, and other industrial applications; J.L. Moore (2014) and EESCO Pump & Valve (2017) enhanced service capabilities in New York and Baltimore/DC. In 2020, we acquired F.R. Mahony, extending our municipal water and wastewater solutions into New England. Thermoflo joined in 2024, strengthening hydronic heating and HVAC offerings in Pittsburgh. Most recently, Envirep (2025) expanded municipal capabilities across eastern & central PA, southern NJ, DE, MD, DC, northern VA, and eastern WV. Headquartered in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, Cummins-Wagner is 100% employee-owned, combining the best products and expertise to serve customers across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and beyond.
