Specializing in small wood craft parts, Cupboard serves the Decorative Painting industry and Woodworking industry worldwide. We operate both as a mail-order and online wholesale shipping company as well as a retail storefront in historic Urbana, Ohio. About Cupboard Distributing Nestled in the heart of Ohio, Cupboard Distributing is a very unique business. It all started back in 1986 when a family accident spurred the owners, Chris and John, to open up a small business to cover some expenses. To their surprise and delight, people loved their line of wood shapes and craft supplies that they sold through mail order from their home, and the company took off. After hundreds of requests and a few surprise visitors to their home, they decided to open up a storefront in historic Urbana, Ohio. Beginning in a tiny shop in the charming downtown square in 1987, the business has since moved to larger and larger stores around Urbana until finally settling into the 8,000+ square foot warehouse it now occupies just outside the south end of the city in 2003. Ever since then, the company has grown by leaps and bounds, continuing the expansion into other lines of products. Now, customers can find everything from woodworking items and craft supplies to scrapbooking and fine art supplies.
