Making caramel takes precision, patience, the freshest ingredients, hard work, determination, some creative experimentation—and a good candy thermometer! Dallas Caramel Company has been crafting unapologetically delicious caramels since 2007.  When founder Rain McDermott began, she was armed with a sweet tooth and a promise to her dentist to create caramel so luxuriously soft that it wouldn’t stick to dental work. 

Fast forward a few years, and now the award winning company boasts 13 flavors that are always available like sea salt, chocolate, bacon and chai, as well as seasonal varieties like eggnog, watermelon, and margarita.  As word spread about these delicious treats, Dallas Caramel Company expanded its offering and now offers a variety of treats including caramel sauce, caramel dipped pretzels, caramel dipped sandwich cookies, and customizable giftboxes for any occasion.  

In addition to making delicious treats, Dallas Caramel works with the highest standards of quality, using all natural ingredients and wrapping each piece by hand. Rain’s values of kindness, community, and hard work continue to set the tone for her dedicated team.
