DDL is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, and GMP, third party testing laboratory that has provided package, product and material testing for the medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries for over 35 years. 

DDL has testing labs located in Eden Prairie, MN, Edison NJ, and Irvine, CA.  Our three locations allow us to work one on one with clients and provide authoritative expertise, superior testing services and individual quotes that are comprehensive and easy to understand.

DDL's testing services evaluate the strength and integrity characteristics of a packaging system before and after simulating the anticipated distribution and storage conditions that the system may undergo. This combination of simulation and evaluation is used by packaging professionals to validate package compliance with ASTM, ISO, ISTA and other accepted industry standards.

DDL's testing services include: shock testing, vibration testing, tensile testing, leak testing, thermal performance testing, transit testing and validation services.

To complement its packaging testing, DDL takes design understanding to a deeper level by testing and evaluating the materials that make up the package itself. From tensile and tear testing of poly films and trays to applying compression and tension to packaging components, materials testing can increase an engineer’s understanding of available options, allowing for more informed design decisions.

In addition to medical device package testing DDL also offers product and material testing with a specialty in medical devices. Areas of testing DDL specializes in include: Luer testing, catheter testing, syringe testing, infusion set testing and needle testing.
