Founded more than 30 years ago, the corporate office is at IDS International in Alexandria, Virginia. Training operations are in Virginia Beach with six U.S. branch offices and 19 OCONUS branch offices.

DECO training programs provide civilian law enforcement organizations, military organizations, and other security providers the policy level, operational, and tactical skills necessary to combat terrorism.  DECO is conducting training programs at domestic and overseas locations in support US capacity building efforts around the globe.  To date, DECO has conducted training in over 75 countries, has delivered over 2,200 distinct training courses, and has trained over 50,000 participants.
